Apprenticeship Scheme

At Scot JCB, we always put the customer first, so it is no surprise that we are committed to offering the best customer support in the industry. To do this we need to have the best technicians trained to a world class standard. This is where you come in!

Scot JCB have joined forces with Reaseheath College in Cheshire, one of the top construction plant maintenance training centres, to set up an engineering apprentice scheme. This is an amazing opportunity to train on the latest machines and get your career off to a flying start.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for apprentices who have a good mechanical aptitude, enjoying fixing things, have an interest in engineering and are team players to work in our Aberdeen, Carlisle, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Muir of Ord depots.

How does the Programme Work?

The course is a mix of college based training and on the job training. In your first year you will spend more time in college than the subsequent two years, where you will be working alongside fully qualified engineers to gain knowledge and improve your level of experience.

As an apprentice you will develop the basic principles you need to learn to work on our engineering team.
