Agricultural Telehandlers
A telehandler is a multi purpose machine that plays a vital role on any farm. It is used to lift, move, and place objects or materials with a telescopic arm that extends and retracts for extra reach. JCB Loadall telehandlers are compatible with a wide range of attachments including shear grabs, grain pushers, muck forks, bale spikes, buckets, sweepers, and grass forks which help increase productivity across livestock, arable, and mixed farming systems.
JCB’s agricultural telehandlers are known for strong performance, low running costs, excellent visibility, and operator centred design. The CommandPlus cab remains one of the most comfortable on the market with generous space, ergonomic controls, and exceptional all round visibility. The agricultural Loadall range is engineered for demanding farm work and is ready to perform from day one.
Power and Productivity from JCB
JCB’s agricultural telehandlers range in power from 25Hp to 172Hp and even include a fully electric-powered model. The lift capacity and height vary by model from 1,400kg to 6,000kg and 4m to 9.49m respectively.
Small But Mighty Farm Telehandlers
JCB recently introduced the compact 514-40 telescopic handler to the range. It offers full telehandler capability in a smaller footprint that can fit through a six-foot-wide gap, making it ideal for tight yards, older livestock buildings, poultry units, and small paddocks. The 514-40 is also trailer towable, simple to operate, and features excellent manoeuvrability for work in restricted spaces.
With a best-in-class lift capacity of 1,400kg at full height and a maximum lift height of 4m, this compact Loadall is perfect for everyday tasks such as mucking out livestock sheds, transporting bales, handling feed bags, loading small trailers, and general yard work.
For comparison, a larger mid range model such as the JCB 532-60 delivers up to 130Hp, a 3,200kg lift capacity, and a 6.2m lift height which provides a strong baseline for mixed farms or dairy units that need extra reach and output.
Our Most Powerful Telehandler Yet
The JCB 542-70 sits at the top of the agricultural Loadall range. With a maximum power output of 173Hp from the JCB DieselMAX engine, it offers exceptional performance for heavy-duty work. The JCB 542-70 provides a lift capacity of 4,200kg and a maximum lift height of 7m, making it ideal for intensive loading, bale stacking, grain handling, silage clamp work, and large-scale livestock operations.
It also offers a road speed of up to 50km/h for fast travel between yards or fields. The CommandPlus cab on the 542-70 provides best-in-class cab volume, outstanding visibility, and low cabin noise at only 69 decibels. This combination of comfort and power makes it one of the most capable and productive telehandlers available on the market today.
