Looking Forward to 2020

We are now into 2020 and looking forward to the year ahead. We have a lot of exciting events coming up and plenty of opportunities to see and try our extensive range of Agricultural and Construction Machinery.

ScotPlant, our biggest construction show, takes place every two years at the Royal Highland Showground in Ingliston. This year our stand will be bigger than ever before for the two-day event on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th April.

On our 50 x 36m stand we will showcase JCB’s finest construction machinery including the latest machines from the acclaimed X Series range and the new first of its’ kind for JCB Roto. Within the stand we will also be hosting an operators’ challenge where you can try out the new Electric Mini Digger for yourself. We will have plenty of prizes to give away across the two-day event so make sure you come down and give it a try

We will be back at Royal Highland Show in 2020 offering customers old and new the best in agricultural machinery and of course, our usual Scot JCB hospitality. Taking place from 18th to 21st June at Royal Highland Showground in Ingliston we will be in our usual spot on avenue R. As with previous years we will have our Scot JCB shop on stand where you can purchase a wide range of genuine JCB merchandise.

This year for the first time we will have a chance for you to try a brand-new Series III JCB Loadall in our virtual reality cab! Sit in the cab and try your skills against other customers over the weekend to win some fantastic prizes.

In March we will be holding an event to celebrate the refurbishment of our Muir of Ord depot! This will give our customers, old and new, a chance to come and see our new workshop facilities which have been built. In addition to our previous workshop we now have a n additional three double length bays, overhead crane and an auto dispensing unit. Of course, we will have machinery from JCB, Kubota, HORSCH and many more! Sign up to our newsletter or follow us on Social Media to make sure you don’t miss out on the details.

Looking to the future and we are looking for 14 apprentices to join the Scot JCB Group. If you are interested or you would like to find out more, see our careers page for these and the rest of the vacancies available at any of our seventeen depots.
