Meet Our New Recruits


In August we welcomed Rachael Henderson, Fraser Rush and Jason Sives to the Scot JCB Group. Rachael joined the Glasgow depot as the marketing assistant across the Scot JCB Group. Fraser joined as an Apprentice Parts Advisor at our Muir of Ord depot and Jason is currently training at our Kelso depot as an Engineer that will be based out of Haddington. We asked our new starts some questions to get to know them better!

Rachael Henderson 

Rachael graduated university with a degree in International Business with Marketing looking to gain experience in the marketing field. She has worked with a marketing agency and had a sales and marketing role with a small family run business prior to joining Scot JCB.

 

What attracted you to the role?

I was attracted to this role because it was solely marketing focused but still had variety. Scot JCB has a strong reputation and is a growing company which is why I felt this would be an exciting place to work!

What are you looking forward to about the role?

I am most looking forward to being involved in various aspects of digital marketing such as social media and content creation. I am also looking forward to attending events.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I really enjoy sport. I play netball, attend the gym and coach gymnastics. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family. 

What TV show do you binge watch?

Anything true crime related and the American Office!

If you were stranded on an island what three items would you take?

My phone, chocolate and maybe a boat in case I fancied trying to get home.

 

Fraser Rush

Fraser is joining us as an apprentice and was attracted to the role as he felt it would be a great place to grow his skills with a reputable company.

What are you looking forward to about the role?

I’m most looking forward to learning and improving myself.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I tend to listen to music, walk my dogs and meet up with my mates.

What TV show do you binge watch?

I don’t really have tv show as such, but I enjoy watching football and Formula 1 on a regular occurrence.If you were stranded on an island what three items would you take?

If I was on an island and could only bring 3 items, they’d be my phone, a Bluetooth speaker and a football.

Jason Sives

Jason applied for the engineering role with Scot JCB as the company benefits were attractive and it was a good opportunity to further develop his career. He has previous experience working with cars, vans and HGV’s. 

What you most looking forward to?

Learning about agri equipment and how they operate.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy riding motorbikes and spending time with family.

If you were stranded on an island what three items would you take?

If I was on an island I would take a boat, food and water
