The JCB 3CX Plus Backhoe Loader

A step up from the Sitemaster, the 3CX Plus is JCB’s volume backhoe for operators who want more performance and customisation. The 4.8-litre JCB DieselMax engine delivers 81kW (109hp) and 516Nm of torque through a six-speed Autoshift transmission with Torque Lock, hitting 40kph on the road. Buyers can choose between manual and servo controls, and the Plus can be specified with hose reels, EasyForks and hydraulic quick hitches to match the work.

Key spec points include:
•    Engine: 4.8-litre JCB DieselMax producing 81kW (109hp). 
•    Transmission: 6-speed Autoshift with Torque Lock for better roading. 
•    Custom Fit: Specify with EasyForks, hose reels, or hydraulic quick hitches

The JCB 3CX Pro Dual Drive Backhoe Loader

At the top of the range, the 3CX Pro Dual Drive is built for operators who want the maximum from a backhoe. It runs the same 81kW (109hp) DieselMax engine and six-speed Autoshift with Torque Lock as the Plus, but the top speed rises to 50 kph for serious road travel between sites. Servo controls are standard, the Premium cab can be personalised with a range of options, and the headline feature is JCB’s Dual Drive system - the operator rotates the seat to drive the machine facing the rear, which simplifies trenching and earthmoving and dramatically reduces fatigue over a long shift.

Key features include: 
•    Dual Drive: The headline feature. Rotate the seat to drive the machine while facing the rear, making trenching faster and easier. 
•    Top Speed: Road travel rises to 50kph for rapid movement between sites.
