What Is JCB Machine Care?
JCB Machine Care is JCB’s official extended warranty and product support package. It protects key machine components from unexpected repair costs and supports long-term ownership performance.
Comprehensive Cover applies from zero clock hours (retail date) for an agreed period, up to:
- 5 years from new
- Up to 10,000 machine hours (model dependent)

What Does JCB Machine Care Cover?
JCB Machine Care Comprehensive Cover includes protection for major systems across your machine, including:
Engine & Powertrain Cover
- Engine block and internal component
- Fuel injection system
- Turbocharger
- Axles and final drives
- Torque converter
- Transmission and transmission control systems
Hydraulic System Cover
- Hydraulic pumps and motors
- Hydraulic cylinders
- Main control valve block

- Engine ECU

What Is Not Covered Under JCB Machine Care?
As with any extended warranty, certain components and circumstances are excluded, including:
- Wear and tear items
- Tyres and rubber tracks
- Ground engaging tools such as bucket teeth and cutting edges
- Service consumables including oils, filters and coolant
- Cosmetic bodywork and paint
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect or contaminated fuel
- Non-approved attachments

Conditions to Maintain Your JCB Extended Warranty
To remain eligible for JCB Machine Care:
- The cover must be taken out within 12 months of retail date
- The machine must be serviced by an authorised JCB dealer
- Servicing must follow the Operator’s Handbook schedule
- Genuine JCB parts, fluids and lubricants must be used
- JCB LiveLink must remain activated where fitted
- The machine must be used within its declared application
Failure to meet these conditions may invalidate your cover.

What To Do If Your Machine Develops a Fault
If you believe a covered component has failed:
1. Stop using the machine immediately
2. Contact Scot JCB
3. Provide model, serial number, hours and location
Our factory-trained engineers will diagnose and carry out repairs in accordance with JCB guidelines.
Is JCB Machine Care Transferable?
Yes. JCB Machine Care may be transferable if you sell your machine during the cover period, subject to approval. This can improve resale value and offer reassurance to the next owner.
