Meet David McMurray

David McMurray is our new Sales Engineer working out of our Aberdeen depot and covering Construction machinery sales for Aberdeen and the surrounding area. Now, David is no stranger to us at Scot JCB having worked previously as a Service Engineer, so we had a quick chat to David to catch up and see what he is most looking forward to in this new role.

David, what attracted you to the Sales Engineer role based in Aberdeen? “I was looking for a fresh challenge, I have a lot of experience within construction, and I already knew the team at the depot so I knew I would fit in well and be able to hit the ground running without any trouble.”

David started his career as a Scot JCB Apprentice and was with the company for almost ten years before he left to gain experience in different areas of construction. The knowledge he has earned over the years as a Service Engineer will be incredibly beneficial in his new sales role.

“I’m really looking forward to getting out and about and meeting customers, introducing myself and showing the benefits of buying JCB. I’m a massive fan of the X Series range especially the 150X HD.”
